Today we're rolling out a major update to Locusive's agent-building capabilities. With our latest update, you can now create an unlimited number of agents, configuring them for use on many different channels, tightly controlling what tools they have access to, and also training them for specific tasks. This is our largest update in months, and we've designed it to enable both technical and non-technical users to quickly and easily build their own highly sophisticated AI agents.

We've always believed in a world where every company, and heck, every worker, can have their own assistant - an AI tool that they can outsource their tedious tasks to, or that they can plug into their apps to help guide and lead their users, or simply an internal assistant that they can rely on to search across all their data. But until today, you've only been able to work with Locusive on Slack or our website, and only in a limited way. With today's rollout, you gain more fine-grained control on not only where your agents are available, but also how they operate.

Tools

With our new Tools settings, in conjunction with the different integrations you upload, you can now control what tools your agent has access to and what it can use to respond to your requests. This allows you to more closely control what your agent's users experience and how they respond. For example, you may want to enable search engines for internal business assistants, but deactivate them for your website visitors, forcing your agent to only respond using your knowledge base.

Training instructions

Training instructions are now agent-specific, allowing you to configure how different agents should behave when they receive specific types of messages.

Preview your website agents

You can now try out your website agents before ever putting them on your site using our new Sandbox preview feature. The Sandbox uses the exact same code and agent that you place on your website, allowing you to see exactly how your agent will behave with real website visitors.

Settings and safety

You can now closely control all of the settings around your agent, including listing allowed and disallowed topics and domains.

We hope these new updates are useful for you and are looking forward to seeing how you use them to make your own agents!
