Here are some of the most commonly asked questions that we get about setting up and using Nobi
What does it take to get setup?

Locusive Search, which integrates with your Help Center documentation, requires just a couple of clicks to get connected and select the data sources that you want to include. Once you've got your knowledge base set up, you can start chatting on Slack or start using our API ASAP. Setting up Analyze and Act, which require integrating with your database, are also quick but might require us to write some training materials so the system can learn your business properly.

How does Locusive know how and where to get its answers?

When a user sends in a request, it looks at all of the connected data sources and tools that it has access to, and decides which tools to run and which data sources to query based on what it needs to do in a step-by-step way until it has an answer to your users question.

Can you integrate my custom data source?

Yes, we work with customers to integrate any data sources that they use that we may not already support.

Are you using ChatGPT under the hood?

We've integrated multiple LLM models and select the best one at any given time based on a user's request and the progress that our system has made towards answering that user's question. We do use ChatGPT and we also use Gemini and Llama 3.

Are you training the system based on our own business data?

We create training instructions and reference guides that our system can retrieve and follow when your users ask specific types of questions. We use these materials, along with a combination of retrieval augmented generation (RAG) from your connected data sources, and an autonomous agent framework for reasoning, to ensure the system provides accurate answers to your users questions based on any data and instructions you've provided.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! We'll not only help you get set up but we also offer a free trial for 30-days or 100 requests so you can see how it works for you.

I'm worried that once I connect my apps, you'll read in everything, can I select the documents and data sources that are included in your system?

Yes! Connecting an app just gives us permissions to read your content, but you select what content you want to include as part of your Nobi agent. You can always update what's included at any time.
